Spieker Senior Development Partners is a privately-held developer of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs). These communities range from one-bedroom units to roomy single-story homes. Characteristics of Spieker-owned communities include high ceilings and modern kitchens and appliances.

Residents who live in the communities have access to a wide range of services, including housekeeping, home maintenance, landscaping, and more. The communities also come with entertainment options like theaters, spas, and fine dining.

Spieker also develops Health Centers that include nursing centers, assisted living, and memory care facilities.

As of now, Spieker Senior Development Partners has developed six retirement communities and four health centers in the state of California. The company is constantly on the lookout for potential land or property that can be developed into additional CRCCs.

Management:

Spieker is owned by Warren E. “Ned” Spieker, Jr., who is also the Managing Partner of Spieker Realty Investments. Warren was also Chairman of the Board of Spieker Properties, a publicly-traded real estate investment trust which was sold in July 2001 with more than $7.2 billion in assets.

Warren leads a team of five CRCC owners and professionals with different areas of expertise, including negotiating land purchases for the development of retirement communities, business development, site analysis, new project entitlement, and more.

Since its inception, Spieker Senior Development Partners has received numerous awards, including the Orange County People’s Choice Award “Best Continuing Care Retirement Community” and National Council on Senior’s Housing, NAHB “Top Service Enhanced Senior Housing Project.”
