Projects:

Hunter’s Point South Living is a real estate project that consists of two mixed-income luxury housing complexes in Long Island City, New York. The buildings, Hunter’s Point South Crossing and Hunter’s Point South Commons, offer nearly 1000 units combined, and residents can enjoy a stunning view of the New York City skyline as well as close proximity to the City itself. Apartments range from studio to 3-bedroom and are available for rent only, not for purchase.

Amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, a fitness center, tech lounge, pet-friendly apartments, laundry rooms, bicycle storage, barbecue grills, a children’s playroom, and more. The neighborhood is considered to be in an upswing and offers restaurants, shopping centers, and the lovely, recently constructed Waterfront Park.

Management:

Hunter’s Point South Living is one of the many projects of Stephen M. Ross, an American real estate owner and developer. Ross began his career as a tax attorney but after clashing with his boss, he went out on his own and used his federal tax law knowledge to organize deals for wealthy investors.

Following his initial success, Ross founded The Related Companies in 1972. Based in New York City, Related is the largest owner of luxury apartment rentals in NYC and also manages approximately $1.5 billion of equity capital on behalf of a variety of clients.

History:

The Hunter’s Point South Living project was part of a larger plan for urban development of the neighborhood, and the two complexes were completed in 2015. The buildings were designed by Shop Architects and the construction was carried out by Monadnock Development, LLC.
